Invalid patch file error- with standalone!?

That's what I get- d/l from the apolyton link... can't seem to update it. Anyone else?

check the .err file it creates when you apply it. Have you altered any of the data files?

Yes I did. Do I need to have only the standard data files? I thought it would just overwrite them.

Ok, I'll fresh install, patch and THEN mod.

We'll have better support for modding in future patches.
Right now, you have to have the original files (from any patch version) in order to patch.
