Dumb question....Where are the supply carts or caravans? What building are they produced by and what technology is needed to build them? I read the manual last night, but still could not find this explained. Perhaps I overlooked it. Furthermore, are they needed? I take it they are to prevent attrition?

They are built at seige factorys, the far right button.
*edit* I think you need military 3 to build them. -
Supply carts are available in medieval age @ a seige factory, caravans are available as soon as com lvl 1 is researched and at the market. Supply carts negate attrition in a limited radius.

Supply carts are made in the seige factory (far right icon). I can't recall the tech that's needed, but as soon as you can make a seige factory, you're in business. Supply carts are vital for stopping attrition, so it's good to bring a couple when you go on the attack; also good to kill the enemy's supply carts when he attacks on your territory. Very effective.

Siege factory requires the second military tech (Mercenaries), and supply wagons require Medieval Age.Comment
