CTW Crash

My game crashes totally when I try to play the Conquer The World Scenario. I can select my country and click on the button for "Start New Campaign". Then the screen comes up telling me about the country I selected and the uniqiue units. Then the game dissappears and I'm out at the Windows Desktop.

I am running on an HP, Pentium three, Windows XP Pro.

I didn't have the patch yet, so I am downloading it now (dial-up ). I'll see if that helps.

I have the same problem.
In CTW gameplay, I click start, the game start to load the scenario and when the bar is at around 50-60% I go back to windows with the message:
Abnormal program termination.

I use Win98 on P3 733...

I am quite disappointed...

This will be fixed in patch 2. It's coming out shortly. Hang in there.

I get the same problem: using Win2000Professional
on IBM A21p.
