Medieval castle

I maybe wrong but in the medieval age why isnt the castles made of stone? I thought on the official site they are in the medieval age.



a wooden castle in the medieval age just seems odd (especially since I play in that age a lot)

It depends which civ you're using- regardless, the medieval castle is the best defensive fortification vs. the timeframe

Actually, I noticed that too, come to think of it. The graphics don't change until the gunpowder age
