CTW 1.0 save games cause Crash to desktop when loaded in 1.01?

Just finished trying this on a second computer... My 1.0 CTW savegames cause a crash to desktop when I try to load them after patching to 1.0.1. Re-installing (reverting back to 1.0) and they work fine....

Anyone else experiencing this?


The 1.0.1 patch was supposedly only 'multiplayer gui improvements', what other easter eggs have we got here?

I am brand spanking new to RoN and have never been able to start a new CtW campaign without it crashing. Quick Battle works fine. I booted up Gamespy just to load the latest patch.

I got this too. I about half way through loading the game I got an error that was something like:

Fatal Error BHG RTS

Error loading header probably in LeaderData

safe to ignore : NO

Abort, Retry, Ignore


I'm not in front of my machine so I don't know if that's 100% what it said, and I've unisnstalled and reinstalled without the patch so I could finish playing. I hope this helps, I'd really like to find out what's going here
