Whats the easiest way to REMOVE a unit from a group?

Is there an easier way to remove a single (or multiple) units from a group.

What I've been doing is this:

-select the group
-select everyone else besides the guy i want out
-hit ctrl+group number to reassign

The best would be a key to remove selected units from all groups. Does such a beast exist? (And if so, add it to the useful inteface tricks thread too )

Select group, ctrl-click unit, ctrl-[group number].

That's the best way I know and that's good enough for me... (though I wouldn't be surprised if there were faster ways of doing it)
