I like this game very much, but multiplayer is somethimes quite anoying. What I really hate are players who instantly quit after they have a disadvantage.

1.) I build ab 12 min and enemy quits because i have 1000 points more.... . This happend without a shot fired.

    2) A player tried to rush me with japan. He tried 2 times with no success. Because of his exessive unit produktion I had an advantage. But what happens? After his second rush failed he quits... .

It is so annoying to spend your time to build up, than the opponent quits and you dont get even the chance to let the ai play on. There is nothing like a total victory .

1.) Play in tournament mode... scores are hidden

2.) So he's a one note player. Take pride that you could have beaten the living crap out of him even if he hadn't rushed.

Play rated games when the patch comes out. People will be less inclined to quit.

People will, however, still be jerks. 'cheater', 'n00b', 'no rush', 'cheap', are sure signs you're dealing with a fragile mind.

Does AI peak up for the left player?

I have had the same happen in team games. You haven't played the game until you go one against three into modern, losing both your allies in gunpowder age. Once I started losing my oil, I was pretty much toast. But, I played on until they got a territory victory.

AI will replace a team player if he lags out, but if he resigns or justs exits the game all you get is their resource reserve.

I'm notorious in a small circle for fighting tooth and nail, dragging out games as long as i can, trying suprise flank attacks with what little i have

i've turned around a few games as well, and i often find myself buying time for an ally to get his act together

I actually like to stay in the game as long as i can like Uber KruX. Why? Because i know it's a whole lot of fun to finish off the enemy. It's kind of disapointing to play until the enemy captures 3 of your 5 cities and it's obvious he will win no matter what you do or how good you are, then he resigns and you don't get to finish him off

Really wish there was an option to let the AI take over just so you can beat the crap out of it

, it is fun to smash the AI with a pipe now and then

i really wish the AI took over resigned people as well, from an allies standpoint. not only do you lose an entire player's army, you lose their entire economy, that portion of the map is essentially dead until conquered, and you cant take your allies land. you have to LET the opponent take the land, and then try to recapture it.

at least with the AI, some units are being made, and you have some control of them. you can also whine for resources from it i do that a lot, when i get stuck with one.

also, you'd be suprised how many seemingly "game ending" assaults end up flopping. you just have to be clever and resourceful.

I am glad to hear that there are some people who fight till the bitter end . I hope there will be an option to continue against an ai replacement in a future patch... .

1.) Play in tournament mode... scores are hidden
That is a good idea but for some reason i cant host?!? Nobody finds the game. I have no firewall nor router and can join games without a prob

This has happened to me too (players quitting online at the first sign of trouble instead of fighting it out). I've been a little unclear on what exactly happens to their territory and resources. I'm usually playing 2v2 team games. When an opponent resigns, I just pretty much ignore his territory and march my army straight through to attack the other opponent and help my ally. Should I be conquering the resigned players cities instead?

do any of yall prey off other peoples kills i do. What i mean is when somebody invades someone and that person quit so all the land is left over ill send a small and take some cities for myself while the other person did all the killing

I haven't played this game online (yet), but I remember back in the days, as I often played Settlers III online, I often stayed in the game, even though my army was beaten a long time ago, since I'm always interested to see how the game ends

When you play this game online, you're playing with a user registered to a certain keycode, right? Wouldn't it be a good idea, to keep a simple register, for all players? The register, should be avaliable for all to watch, and should contain:
How many games, the player has played
How many games, the player has won
How many games, the player has quit (Before his nation is destroyed)
                            ...and such info...

Would be pretty simple, but of course, this only works, for them who plays offline

If a player is joining your game, you'll then have the option to kick that person, if he's got too many unfinished games...
This space is empty... or is it?

They have it now, although its broken. They do correctly show the correct number of games but not the wins/loss.
