disease on the battlefield

As soon as my troops enter enemy territory an orange halo glows around each one of my soldier and they all die slowly. Looks like they are sick. Anyone knows anything on how his happen and what I can do to solve it?

supply wagons.

don't enter territory unless at war with someone.

That's Attrition (Research at the tower). It represents your units being out of supply. Lack of food/medical supplies/equipment/etc. causes your units to loose battle effectivness over time. You prevent this by bringing supply wagons with you to keep your units "in supply".

Any units in your territory or nutral/allied territory are automatically "in supply".
