Picking a game with diplomacy usually CTD's

I have been able to start the standard game and the sniper games without issue, but if I pick a diplomacy variant of the game it CTD's. I have been able to get the Conquor the World to start up but only if I try lots of times and if I want to load a CTW game I have to try lots of times.

1.33 GHz Athlon
1 GB of Physical Ram
Windows XP Pro
Geforce 4600 Ti

I'm looking forward to these CTD problems getting fixed as I like what I've played of CTW, just not the 5 minutes of repeated trying to get it to load.

The 2nd patch, which will be released in a couple of days, will deal with the CtW crashes. Perhaps this will solve your problems as well.
