  • Headache reducing (literally) feature request

Please, PLEASE make it so resource limits don't blink when they're at their absolute maximum.

What would be really nice would be to have an option for the resource indicators to NOT blink at all. A nice steady yellow color would be just fine.

That blinking is giving me headaches.

When in home territory, I would like the ability to automate healing of units:

"Go to nearest (fast/slow) place to heal" (e.g., barracks (fast) or tower (slow)), also

"Combine these two like units to make one unit," where you take 2 damaged units of the same type and combine them to make one of stronger health.

Please don't be flip. I'm not making this request lightly. The blinking literally does give me a headache. Blinking lights, particularly red, are triggers for migraines. They can also cause seziures--that's the reason that most video games contain health warnings these days.

And yes, it does draw your attention to it, but in the end game when you can no longer raise the resource cap, it's just stupid for the damn thing to keep blinking red the rest of the game.

Maybe the ideal solution would be for it to flash for the first 10 seconds after a cap is reached, and then just stay steady red or yellow. Of course, if the cap is increased and then reached again, it should flash again for another 10 seconds.

i think the terrain should blink, for some reason or another, until you build on it.

                        I wholeheartedly agree.

                          I agree, I don't get a headache but it's annoying.

It's very distracting. It can be helpful, but after a while I want to SCREAM AT YOU STUPID BLINKING THINGIES! It's especially annoying when you have a cap that isn't a multiple of ten... so to get the most out of it, you have to go over a bit.

I like the blinking. I'd never realize my limits otherwise.
