Find out what you Motherboard is. Then go to a search engine (www.google.com will do) and type it in. The manufacturers website should be among the results

I am getting random CTDs (and sometimes restarts!) during quick battles, not just CTW. Will this patch address those issues? And when can we expect it?

I run a NTP client. Could that possible cause an issue with the game?

I run a NTP Client also and it was not what was affecting it. I just had to update my bios.

There is some graphical error in RON that need to be corrected too.Supply Wagon dont change into trucks in the industrial age and same too for Caravan. That is a bug need to be corrected.

When I am playing Turkey against the AI's chinese, sometimes their building's graphics is same to mine meaning that their building should have a Chinese style not a Turkish style.I dont know why this happen, this has repeated more than twice,I am using Turkey against AI's British, their building changed to Turkish style instead of European style,Is that a bug?

Ike, I was getting MANY CTD's and restarts while playing Battlefield 1942, and it was driving me crazy. I updated drivers, reinstalled the game, to no effect. I was going to do a clean reinstall of my OS when I decided to try something simple - I bought a can of compressed 'air' (dust remover), took the side off my case and blew out all the dust, and played with the side open. I played BF 1942 for 4 hours without a problem. When I put the side of the case back on and played, I got a CTD after an hour or so. So... I think it was a heat issue. Looks like I'll have to invest in some more cooling fans or a better heat sink compound for my processor. In the meantime, though, I can play my games for hours and hours again without incident as long as I play with one side of the case open.

I used to get CTDs with RoN as well, but I haven't tried playing it again since blowing the dust out of my machine. However, canned air is cheap, so you may want to do as I did and see if that helps anything.

I had a big heat problem with my new PC with a radeon 9800. I had consistent crashes at 5min into the game. After seeing the posts here and at other sites I took off the side and the game played to 10 min (then crashed). I added a BIG fan blowing directly onto the Vcard. Viola, it plays fine.

So, I think the heatsink/fans on the new big Vcards are ****. I'm not even sure if a slot fan will cool this thing enough when playing RoN (plus I dont want to give up a PCI slot).

Cool your card and play the game.
