Need help - can't play Campaign

When I try to play a Conquer the World mission, the game crashes and I get the following error. I am not a big computer person (I use a computer a lot, but I'm not really a techy), and have no idea what to do. Someone suggested that I change my colour to 16 bit, but it was already on 16 bit. Please help me, I just want to play the game and this is really being a pain. I don't even have C++ on my computer.

I had the same problem. I updated my video drivers & I just finished the first stage of the Conquer the World

How do I update my video drivers? Sorry, I really don't know, but I truely appreciate any help. I just want to play the game.

I searched around for help on this; at some other forum they suggested Ad-Aware, and while that go rid of a ton of stuff it still didn't seem to help. They also said reinstalling Windows, which I really don't want to do since I have a Compaq and just a restart disk.

But please please help me with this driver thing, I am willing to try almost anything. Thanks for trying to help at least.

What is your video card?

If it's made by NVIDIA or ATI you are in luck as they both have universal drivers for their cards.
