hi there...i´ve read several reviews of rise of nations now----and i own the game..


i have played it a few times...and now my question.


how can i negotiate the ai-ally in-game? how can i make him produce thingsa that i want or how can i make him attack?

click on the diplomacy tab (attachment)
then you will have a diplomacy window open.
you will see a list of all the adversaries.
click on their name to open a specific window for them.
when it is open you will see the tribute indow at the top and underneath it some symbols with tickboxes next to them.
the symbol with the bird means declare peace.
the symbol with teh hands shaking means mutual defence pact.
the other tickboxes include colored flags as symbols next to them.
if you have entered an allies screen and have a defence pact with him you can ask him to declare was on whoever you want by clicking on the colored flag tickbox.
eg. if you want your ally to attack the red guy click on the box next to the red flag.

You can use the taunts too. Just 'say' the appropriate taunt number to your AI ally to get him to do the action (not all taunts are relevant to AI commanding though):

1. Yes.
2. No.
3. Maybe.
4. I need food.
5. I need timber.
6. I need metal.
7. I need wealth, alright? Wealth.
8. I need oil.
9. Ha, I need...oh yeah, knowledge.
10. Do you need resources? Speak up boy.
