  • Stores have the game

Well, found out tonight that the local EB Gameworlds have RoN in stock, but of course not on the shelves.

I know people complain about this all the time, but I really HATE that all new releases come out on Tuesdays instead of say, Thursdays or Fridays. I have free time NOW not in the middle of the week!

Anyway, I am working my way through all the local stores to see if I can get them to sell me a copy....sometimes I luck out. Evil? Well sure, but what the hell you only live once and I am really looking forward to this game.

    Cheers,

    Arras

The problem with the chain stores is better POS/Inventory control systems can be made to block sale of an item until the release date. When Civ3 was released my local Best Buy had it on the shelf 4 dayes before release date, when I tried to buy it they found the barcode number wasn't active on the POS side of the system and I had to wait. Your gonna have to find a store manager that will sell you the game and ring it up on tuesday. Or, find an independent store where the fact that the game was sold early stays in the store.

Is there a reason that new releases come out on Tuesday? Is it for those stores that are closed on weekends? Anyone know?

If the game is in stores, you can probably well buy it, offering triple the price .
