    I don't think it's particularly bad news for BHG. They will have known this would happen.

    Are there any big games released in the past few years that HAVEN'T appeared on the warez scene just before/after their release?
    If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

      Talk about games. Windows XP had that so much debated Windows Product Activation in it. Cracks for the final build were avilable two weeks before release of Win XP.

        well this kind of thing is expected. especially with a public beta etc. but the way most companies beat that is to release a patch that kills the crack from being able to play online.

        So patching isnt just about debugging and balancing the game, but to deter piracy.
        Are you down with ODV?

            Nope. The old crack doesn't work with a patched version, but after there is a patch, a new crack generally becomes available within 24 hours.
