invading Orion

Is there some trick to being able to Invade Orion??? I have sent in fleets and knocked out all System defenses, and starships. But when the ground comabt phase occurs it skips invasion by my troops. and yes, I do have troops on tranports in system. Am I missing something, or is this another of the many bugs I have found???????? any and all help on this is greatly appreciated!!!!!

It is a bug and I've had it invading common star systems as well. Move your transports out and in for a second try.

If the Orions system has got more than one settled planet, invading Orion has a second little problem. After you conquer 1 planet, the Orions keep building ships and you're forced into defense of the conquered planet; you'll never be able to conquer the other ones.
You best nuke the Orion system planet by planet while you can only hope no planets are settled by your allies or by magnates .

I tried moving the transports out and back in already. That didn't work. and actually I have not been able to nuke the orion system planets either. All I have been able to do beat up thier defenses repeatedly. Kinda get old REAL fast. If this is a bug I sincerely hope they get it in the patch! and get that patch out fast!! Thanks for the help
