Hi All,
Rather new to this, however having great fun playing this game. However have a couple of issues / grumbles:

1. How can I stop the IA building troop ships?? I have more troop ships than anything else!

2. How can I delete old / obsolete ships designs? I tried in the ship design screen, clicking on scrap design etc, however they still appear...

Does anyone have any good tips please

1. You'll have to make troops ships obsolete

2. Yes, in the ship design window. Just click on the design and then Scrap design.

The old designs are still being built because they are in a military queue somewhere. If you scrap a design it doesnt remove it from military queues.

Combining the two, obsoleting troop ships is something I always do by turn 1. By the time I want troop ships, all my other ships will be faster than the starting ships, so I'd rather not be saddled with slower transports.

there are build ratios you can edit in the military AI txt file so that you do not get so many troop ships built, or so many ground support units.
