This is an example of the sometimes hated "minmaxing", but I'm curious. It seems like the "Tolerant" special attribute is an obvious thing to take.
Using Evon as an example, they start with "Superior" environmental. However, "Tolerant" costs 20 points, and dropping Environmental down to only Good provides 20 points.
Superior Environment reduces the effects of pollution by 30%, and terraforming by 20%
Good Enviroment reduces the effects of pollution by 15%, and terraforming by 10%
Tolerant lowers the effects of Pollution by 50%
Whats the tossup? It seems the only negative is higher terraforming costs, but between magnate and conquered races I try to do as little terraforming as possible anyways. Is there any reason to -not- lower Enviroment by one click while simultaneously taking Tolerant?
