I have read some threads where people where saying that they
thought the game was playing itself without them, I thought to
myself what a bunch of moaners. How wrong was I ?
So I read the manual and some guides that had been written.
I do some initial settings to development plans and then basically
sat back and watch as I press the turn button and then follow
sitrep reports. Apart from initiating diplomacy and recruiting spies
I feel quite detached from the game.
I can't put my finger on it but I don't feel like I'm actually effecting
the game very much. Personally I think it's down to the fact that
the game is so complicated and having no playthrough tutorial
leaves you baffled by most things so you must rely on the Ai to
help you. But that doesnt give you much faith as so many have
reported about the bugged AI.
Lets hope some of you guru's out there can write a good in-depth
tutorial that can take some of us novices through the majority of
the game.
