galactic start preference

Ok... what is your preference and why?

Starting the game on the interior of the galaxy (meaning closer to orion and everyone else) OR starting on the outskirts of the galaxy (like on one of the arms)?

Me... It is a toss up... I am impatient about travel times, so I like the interior due to the amount of close systems... whereas I like my lebensraum and don't wanna be bothered so the arms/exterior is great.

What do ya'll think?

I like breathing room - outskirts. I like to get some exploration in before I have to start dealing with other races.
