Is the encyclopedia Mod'able?

If it is possible, someone doing a better encyclopedia could solve quite a few of the gripes people have about MoO3. I don't have it yet, so I can't look at it myself, but I thought I'd ask.

I answered the first part with online research. Yes, we can add/update encyclopedia entries. So, who's going for the fame of doing the best replacement encyclopedia? I'll certainly work on it, but I'm already spread too thin to do a wonderful job of it.

Check out the IG forums, people are already starting to work on it, first adding in the planetary specials and then the magnate races, I think they're also planning on doing tech.
