  • Full Government Data (not POS Strat Guide)

Here you go everyone, knock yourselves out.

It contains some updates from the strategy guide (marked *)

It also contains some extra data not included in the strat guide AFAIK.

I don't know what some of this data means but a lot of it is self explanatory.

yolky, the file is a zip file, so you'll need something like winzip to open it (www.winzip.com)

campfreddie, can't you post it as a plain TXT file instead of a spreadsheet?

The plain text can be found on IGMOO.

Do a search for campfreddie or dadacp.

Sorry, I don't have it to hand at the moment.

But aren't these values further modified by what species you are? I was just poking around this file and the difficulty settings in the text files.

Sort of off topic, but Tampa are you the guy who used to work on SEIV mods?

sorry for late reply smelly. I downloaded it and unzipped it but when I unzipped it the file is just a common windows file. looks like an empty file with the windows logo on it. when I click on it it asks for what program to run it in.

Do I have to install it in my moo3 directory? what should I do with it once I unzipped it?

Have you guys found anything yet that describes the effects or benefits of the various specials associated with certain planets? Random Rot, Ancient Battle Damage; that sort of thing.

I've been searching for a week or so now trying to find anything that explains those bits...

Ah, that explains it. I don't have it.

                    Thanks

Yolky. You should be able to find a free excel viewer program somewhere on the net. Here's a link to Microsoft's viewer:

Sionathan: The readme.txt file on the CD has a list of planet specials and their effects. You should also get Archangel Brian's Encyclopedia mod from the official forums at ina-community.com. This has all the planetary data and loads more besides and lets you view it from in the game.

Go here for a *massively* improved version of my spreadsheet with loads of extra stuff on it (techs/races/spys/easter eggs)

Oooh, MarkG's even done a news item about it!

Yup, still do to some extent (at least with respect to the TDM ModPack and my Sound pack).

Hey, thanks for the advice campFreddie. I actually found that dictionary mod not long after posting this here; but hadn't thought to look at the .txt files on the CD. (Who actually *reads* the documentation provided with a game anymore, really?)
