The Evon seem to have WAY more points than the humans (+110), and no difference in built in abilities. This makes me feel that there MUST be some additional bonus the humans get that is not being covered in the game’s Readme file, which lists the built in racial abilities. (Either that or I messed up, or the file is inaccurate.)
Exactly what I've been pointing out for 1-2 weeks now.

I read the rest of the thread on IGMoO after you posted.

    Nice work, Alex

Seriously... I hope QS lets us know somehow or at some point if the Humans have some additional bonus or not and, if so, what it is.

If the Humans DO NOT have some VERY NICE extra bonus, they seem pointless other than for sentimental value. When you can make an Evon player that does everything a Human player can do AND MORE, why ever play the "Humans" themselves?

    There's only 2 possibilities left:

    1. QS has something up their sleeves in terms of a secret bonus that must be QUITE impressive for the Humans to make up for the seemingly large gap in abilities between the Evon and Humans.

    2. QS was clueless enough not to balance the Humans and Evon and not notice what we've all noticed based upon our limited information. I find this rather doubtful, given that even on LIMITED information, we've noticed it and been commenting on it for over a week. You'd HOPE the beta testers and QS would have noticed the same thing and decided to do something about it. If not, that's pretty stupid. You have effectively made one of your 16 races pointless because you can use another of the 16 to match it and do better Which means right there you really only have 15 races (less if there are more cases of this I havne't bothered to notice...).

My sincere hope is that the Humans have some killer bonus that evens out that huge Human/Evon split in points. Because I'd rather that all of the races in the game had enough unique talents that other races can't match or surpass.

I played the Raas both times. The second game, the one I played for real, not just to learn the UI,
In the second game, I put the difficulty to Hard, wanting to be killed. It was supposed to be: the l33tspeakers get killed (I named my race "l33t lizards" for this purpose). But I ended up winning.
Please clarify... you beat 'Hard' in your first full game?
