No Repairs?

Hey Gang,

I've read the strategy guide and just recently scanned through the game manual...I see no mention of ship repairs. So I'm assuming ships that survive a battle are just back to full strength after the battle?

Another question, do ships take system damage in combat? Like are ships ever immobilized by having their engines knocked out but still able to fire OR is it simply ships fight at full power until destroyed completely?

I recall reading that Ships can repair minor damage by themselves.
But Armor is permanently gone until the Ship goes back to a Stardock where it can be repaired.

Yes ships still take system samage but its quite unlikly that a whole Taskforce is immobilized Some HSips yes though.
