You are on the way to destruction.

You have no chance to survive make your time.

Great, like I even have a social life to sacrifice. I'm going to give up sleeping, or what?

Margaret Thatcher reputedly slept for less than 4 hours a night. A would-be dictator of the known universe must expect to get by on no more than 2 if he wishes to achieve total domination!

Yeah, but does anyone want to look like HER? Ick.

Furthermore, she wasn't exactly the most successful - I haven't seen one new British colony, and part of the the British empire gained autonomy during her tenure.

Giant wuss, she was. Couldn't even handle a Nommo.

The only slight problem I have is that sometimes I feel the game is playing without me. Sometimes a tad too automated.

well, we'll have to see just how much control we have once we ALL GET IT

I think that the big decisions, the ones you make, should have a big impact....while it micros the small ones for you.

The thing I am really learning how to do is manage taxation; military spending is VERY KEY in this game. If you expand too quickly, you'll divert too many build points from defense into colony ships, etc.

This is the first truly OPERATIC game I've played in a loooooooong while. It's more like Master of Orion 1 crossed with Europa Universalis.

                        Jonah-

                        First, thanks for the feedback.

Second, have you got the strategy guide and if so, has it been helpful in any way?

Third, what's a "life?" Is that anything like the "wife" creature that's in the next room wondering whatinhell she got herself into? I've got one of those too, you see.

Perhaps true, Kalbear, but she sure handed some Argies their butts in a handbasket...

Jonah, your comments have far more worth than any reviews I've seen thus far. I want to hear things like this.

Sounds like the game I've been hoping for all the time.
