Ifrogrames Forum = Kaput?

Anyone else having a nightmare problem trying to get into the "official" Infrogrames Forum?

its just saying "Only 2000 connections allowed"

The only thing is, because the game is close to going Gold, when you see that message you automatically think:-

"Ahhhhhhh..... its busy 'cause its gone Gold!!"

Then hammer the site for access even more.... but when everyone does this the site stays sick :-(

Its been doing that for me too since this afternoon, Ive pretty much decided that that page is just static and isnt going to change no matter how many times I hit refresh and given up until tommorrow :P

Yeah i've experienced this as well..

whats even more annoying is that i keep on getting emails that people have posted in forums i particpate in and i can't even see whats going on...

I wish everyone would just use these..

Either that, or get the dumb UT2k3 or whatever version of that game kids off the darned server!!!

Latest scuttlebutt is that Infrogreed is going under. Moo3 release delayed because they are arrears on payment to the developer who is holding the final cut. Showdown. Moo3 may end up being vaporware.

Where did you hear this? I know IG has been having problems.

I finally got in. One of the posts I saw once I was in suggested that deleting your cookies and relogging in fixes the constant message about max connections. Apparently, you have to register for an account and log in to even look at the forums now, not just to post.

Ok. I was hoping he was talking out of his ass.

I tried to register at the IG forums but It was a no go. I got the reset e-mail and followed the instructions but it still won't let me view the forums. It says I am logged in?

It appears that the NIC card on our MySQL box has elected to not work properly lately. We are trying to resolve the problem and new hardware is on it's way.

We hope to have the problem fixed soon.

Server crashes???
Is it just me, or is the server giving an error message every 3 out of 5 times you access a thread???

You guys shoud do something about it, your forum is way too popular hahaha ;O)

What's with the thing? I deleted my cookies and logged on again and the board worked fine.

Before that I didn't even get to browse the threads.

The database server over there appears to be down. It probably collapsed under the weight of all the traffic after some idiot went and posted a fake 'gone gold' announcement.
