  • Problems with MOO2

    If MOO2 wasent such a great game i would have totally given up on it by now my stuped mouse kept freezing in the game so i downloaded the latest drivers and now it freezes up way way more often its the microsoft intellimouse explorer. also after playing for a few mins the screen will go all black were i couldent see anything cept planets and some buttons (the sidebard, map and all the bottom buttons were gone) i neee to fix this game or i'll go crazy from not playing it. i'm on windows 2000 and i got the nvidia tnt2 pci 32 mb i got plenty of hardrive space and i'm trying to run it (with little success) on an amd k62. sombody help!!

    I wish I could help you, but Win200 is the only winows OPSYS I never used.

      Had exactly the same problems.
      Read my thread at

      At least two suggestions to the problem there. None of them simple (Win98 partition or DirectX developer's kit).
      Of course, it runs nicely in WinXP. At least for me.

        Yes for anyone wanting to play games, moving from Win2000 to XP will solve many gaming issues.
        That is not an option for office PC's, for the most part.

            I am having the same problem. I have used every microsoft operating system from dos 4-windows XP pro. My favorite is windows 2000. I've played every game under windows 2k fine until I started playing moo2 again. It runs fine on my athlon xp, once in awhile the mouse freeze's for a few seconds. However on my athlon 1000 it freeze's and the screen were turn black except a couple graphics.
