Playing on Windows XP

I've read that some people have no troubles with MOO2 on XP. Others had problems with sound. I am having the sound problem. Can't hear anything.

If anyone has tips on installing 1.31 on XP , or if there is a already a thread somewhere, I would appreciate being pointed there. Note that you cannot search on XP because the word is too short (minimum is 4 letters)... even in advanced search.

I had no issues with Moo1 or Moo2 on my XP PRO pc. I updated it a while back and they still work with sound. Are you using the ORION95 exec? Check the shortcut to see what it points to. Moo2 had a DOS and a WIN95 vesion. The 95 one uses direct x and should be fine, unless you have driver issues. NYCOMPATABILE.COM may be worth a look.

It was a driver problem

Turns out my Sound Blaster Live drivers decide to fail about once a quarter now. After drivers are reinstalled everything works fine.
