mo2 research "mistery"

Question: how come sometimes the mo2 will research all the items and lately it ONLY researches ONE at a time (some things like freighter and engine are still researched in threesomes which is natural since u need all three to build a ship)

P.S. i have tried to change settings like play easy, average...or change the number of players 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 its the SAME!

If your race is creative you will research all items. If you aren't you will only research one.

Some of the early techs are special and everybody gets to research all 3.

If you have a pre-warp start, you will have additional "research all" techs.

Yup, creative races are the only ones that get to research all tech.
