  • Peace Conferences

Ok, I'm new to the forum and this is my first Post.

Here's my idea to make the game a little bit better.

Hostically, WWI, Napoleonic wars and other big wars were ended at a peace conference, where everything would be decided, as to who gets territory etc. I think this idea should be incorporated into MOO3. for really big wars, involving several players, everyone gets to input what they want at the end (obviously whoever wins gets more stuff than whoever loses). It could be that the senate then ratifies the peace treaty for a fixed length of time. And whoever breaks the treaty then has to deal with the senate (or not, if the senate doesn't care).

So what do you guys thing? Rather than 1 on 1 negotiations, for big wars everyone gets a say.

Peace still must be declared between individual pairs of empires, but you ARE allowed to set conditions.

There are also states that are less than full war, but not full peace either. I think we've got you fairly well covered on this one.
If I'd known then what I know now, I'd never have done all the stuff that led me to what I know now...

      Well, that sounds good.

One thing I was worried about (after playing Civ 3), is when there are several allies fighting a common enemy (or enemies). And you try and make peace but then your ally forces you to declare war again (especially annoying when your ally has done none of the fighting).

but thanks for replying so promptly anyway.
