Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I think the background color should be some kind of sea blue. Or the blue in the race pick screen of MoO 3.
By the way, are you creating a "Master" or a "Orion" section?

Black for space; blue, for sure ( a lighter sea tone like Zealot suggested, but surely not as dark as SMAC's section ), and the third color should be green - always thought of Orion and the ecological compound of MoO very gaian.

so?
But if civ3.com based its website colors on the apolyton's ctp2 site, why can't you use "similar" colors as those in moo3's official website/the game colors?

If anyone asks, you could say you're using black and blue.

Cool, thanks. Apolyton blue sounds excellent, much better than the apolyton teal they're selling at the hardware store.

Teal?!? Yuck!
Hum.... teal... hey, it might not be so bad after all!
But it might not be well accepted... Blue will probably be more consensual.

Apolyton blue works well with me, but I'm easy to please on matters like this.
