I mthink they went overboard on making aliens look more realistic. I mean I know that aliens won't look humanoid, but still I like to see more features than just a rock. The Meklar look sweeeeet.I never know their names, But i smile just the same
New faces...Strange places,
Most everything i see, Becomes a blur to me

At the official MOO3 website, there is also a video animation of the trilarian. It is amazing! Check it out!'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

I didn't like the gray color of the humans so much, also I still think the meklars are too colorful.
The other races (species, not sure) are looking great and that trilarian video is awesome.Visit Gamacather (GC)!

One point that was brought up elsewhere was that alien races will probably have their own ideas of which color schemes look good, and may well think that human notions of same are appalling. Given the choice between pure marketing value and a realistic depiction, the art department chose the latter.
Thus, not every race is going to appeal to human eyes...nor need they.If I'd known then what I know now, I'd never have done all the stuff that led me to what I know now...
