Rename starsystems or planets in MoO2?

Hi!

Is it possible to remane starsystems or planets(this would be even better, because a system can consist of a couple of plamets with different characteristics) in MoO2?

I have never done it, but I seem to recall a few games being posted that had renamed planets. I am not sure if the used an editor or what.

You can rename systems with Corion and probably planets as well.

You can give the system a new name when you settle it. Renaming afterwards doesnt work. But of course with Corion or any hex editor. But AFAIK there isnt any text in the save files which refers to the planet names. IMO renaming planets shouldnt work.

...if you're the first player to settle a planet in the system. If someone is already there on another planet, you're stuck with the name.

True. I have played hundreds of MP games the last years....but this is very uncommon there. But sometimes its useful to build a OP in a settled system.....otherwise rebellions can cost a lot of time.
