how can I get the game to load,all I get lately is a black screen saying that the directx surface is unavailable ? I have tried deleting my saved games files also there history.Anyone have any ideas ?

I think some of the mods can cause this, I also think that there was a hint about it in the FAQ.Against stupidity the very gods themselves contend in vain. -
I thought the 1.22 (I think) update was supposed to fix this, as well as some of the mods. The specific one eludes me at the moment. Restoring from a recent save used to (temporarily) fix it for me.
