Game crashes MOO2

I'm running MOO2 on XP and the game crashes after choosing difficulty, galaxy age, et al.

The error I get is as follows:

RACESTUF.LBX [entry 4] has an incorrect record size

Anybody else run into this or know a fix?

Nevermind...

I installed the 1.31 zip patch and it seems ok now.

Watch out for the sluggest mouse issue. It can be a real pain when upgrading ships.

AFAIK the exe patch works just from 1.3 to 1.31.

I had problems with the exe patch... I always use the zip.
