  • Solution - Directx surface not avalible

Well I dont know if this has been mentioned but the directX surface error is because of to many savegames in your save directory - Delete all the old ones and leave about 5 or so, then delete the history file in your autosave folderl "the game will create a new one even if you delete the whole autosave folder".

Another reason for deleting the history file is because when you load an old savegame the game WILL react differentely "more aggresive - if your in a tight spot" .

BTW - can anyone explaine the bomming of planets i'm still new to moo3 but have both one and two.

While there was a bug in 1.0 regarding savegames, it was fixed in 1.2.5. Deleting savegames won't fix any directx surface problems.

Also, "directx surface error" is a class of error, not a specific one. Basically, any time there is a pointer error, that is the error message that is going to come up.

Finally, deleting the history.dat file has no effect on anything in-game. It will not make your game any easier or harder.
