I hate to be rude but this idea sucks. The point of the game is to have fun and most people become profficiant through SP and then further expand abilities in MP. 20 turns doesn't do that. In 20 turns not a great deal can occur so not many experiances to learn from. I would suggest 50 turns. I'd be interested in feedback from that.
The job of a soilder is not to die for his empire, but to make the other sorry SoB's die for theirs.
I really like this idea but the reason I didn't jump in is I can picture everyone tweaking everything to their satisfaction every 20 turns and the disagreements that will cause. Without a unity of effort the player would start resembling the AI. One person may want to explore coreward and send a fleet there and the next may think rimward is more important and send the next fleet there.
On the flipside, if there WAS unity of effort then you may as well play single player.

Jesus, having a bad day? Succession games are not new. They work well for other games similar to MoO3, why not this game as well?

I for one am a complete n00b.
I also played 2nd in the succession game here. I learned allot about dev plans from the first player, statusperfect, and allot about military spending and ship designs from the third player, Arnelos. Meanwhile, this 20 turns was not enough for me to totally ruin the game with my lack of knowledge either.
You may be surprised. Give it a try.
