  • MoO3 and Multiplayer

    Hello!

I am relatively new to MoO3 and I tried to setup a LAN Game...

But it logged into the Web instead - but to what address - and why at all?

How can I setup a game for LAN/Ethernet playing ?

    How does the Gamespy work?
I tried to connect (which suceeded) but nothing further happened ....

Aehem - its a pity, that I cannot register at the "official" site - they wont accept my e-mail ;-((((

    Greetings
    Jona

I wasn't aware that people were actually playing this multiplayer.
"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)

Sure. The whole reason for some of the unpopular changes like realtime combat and integrated AI managers is to make multiplayer viable.

You still need to find a group with a lot of free time to actually play a full game.
To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.
