  • Help with sound...please!!!!

    Could someone please help me....
I am desperately trying to figure out how to run MOO on Win 98 with sound. I have been searching the net all day (I know, I am such a loser). I have tried editing my autoexec and configsys files, maybe I am just not doing it right, anyways, I would appreciate any help
    thanks

Well this my perspective and I have installed Moo on all Window9x, NT, XP, not Win2000.
Now I could not get sound on Win9x on all, but one PC. All had SB cards.
It gets sound on both the XP boxes I have had with AC97.
The settings are the same in all cases, even though I tried many different ones in 98.
    address 220 IRQ 5 DMA1 for 8 bit 5 for 16 bit.
So digital is 220 irq 5 drq 1 normally.
First you must get enough free conventional memory for sound to run Moo with sound enabled. This can be tricky if you are not very knowledgeable about loading drivers.
If you had QEMM for windows that would do it.
Frankly the sound is too lame to be bothered with. I do not trun on my peakers most of the time when play Moo1.
