  • Help me use the mp3 player

Ok, I know where to find it...but the problem is, I have never used an mp3 player, so I've never created a playlist. I have downloaded all my mp3s from Kazaa, so that's what I use to listen to them.

So, how do I create a playlist to load into GalCiv? I don't even know what program to do it in...

Get Winamp, put all the mp3s in the playlist and then save the playlist. Voila. Load the playlist file into GalCiv. (Note: I never used the GalCiv mp3 player, so no guarantee that is works that way... but it should.)

To make it easier for poor Boris.

The new Winamp Player offers the best of everything, bringing your streaming services, podcasts, radio stations, audio books and downloads together. Enjoy all your music in one place, and customize your listening experience with the legendary Winamp Player.

To create a play list, you have to add files to your list individually then save the list. I have an older version of WinAmp and I can do this with the buttons at the bottom of the playlist window.

Even easier: Turn off the in game music and have Winamp or your favorite player running in the background and don't even bother with the integrated one. Works great. I usually listen to an Internet radio stream vs. MP3's. ALT-TAB back and forth as needed if you need to switch up what songs you are playing.
