The biggest space 4X game series is getting a whole lot bigger. Galactic Civilizations IV takes the best of what its predecessors had to offer and adds to it with many new and exciting features.

As with anything in its Alpha form, elements of the game as they are now are subject to change. We deeply appreciate player input and a lot of that will factor into design decisions as we continue to work on development. We are very active in the GalCiv IV Discord and on the forums, so you can share thoughts there if you’re inclined!

A game more like Distant Worlds? That caught my attention.

I played Galactic Civilizations II briefly. I don't know. It just didn't do anything for me. I've got Galactic Civilizations III because Epic Games was giving it away for free in January. But I haven't even installed it. Just too many other games to play.

But this one does look good, so thanks for the heads up!
