Can someone tell me about this game if you have it?

I saw the box and it has a lot of good ratings on it but I never hear anything about it.

If someone has it or knows about it please post your thoughts here.

What is good about the game?
What is not good?
Etc. . . .

I just wondered about getting it along with GalCiv.

It is ok, but nothing special. Not very complex at all. it's more of a starship combat game than an empire builder. You actually get penalized for building colonies. The tech stuff is very poorly handled, IMO.
