  • How do you..

I would be able to click on a colony ship, see all the inhabitable planets out there (That I have seen), and than click one to send it to it. I don't like having to search through the map for the inhabitable one every colony ship.

I suspect that such a thing exists, but that I just don't know where it goes.

Also, why does my small ships with two lasers not count towards my military? I have 6 of them, but like everyone else (but one evil nation) my military is '0'...

That is odd about having a military rating of zero, though it probably has something to do with the scale of the game and rounding.

There is a ship/planet list, if I remember right it is the far left button in the main toolbar on the bottom of the screen. You can sort that different ways and double-click on the planets to center the screen on them, that is probably the fastest way to view all inhabitable planets and send colony ships to them.

Click on the little ship+planet icon (lower left button on your bottom toolbar) That will pop up a listing of planets. Default sort is by name, switch the sorting to Class, then click on Uninhabited. It took me about 300 times as long to actually type this than it takes to do it. In short, you can -very- quickly find any planet you want. (You can also do this with ships)

Military power rating is always relative. If you have ships with guns and a military power rating of zero you can expect to be invaded almost any second now because -someone- has already built up a massive military compared to yours...

I use the mousewheel to zoom out, when you get so far out the planets change to dots.....sorta.

          See below.

Nope, everyone was 0 but one other nation.. (that I could see, maybe?) who had like 40 or something.

Do that all the time, but it didn't tell me which ones were habitable..

It does: the dots that are filled represent habitable planets and the brighter, the higher the rating.

Brigher is not actually part of it at all. The more filled in the planet's circle is on the tactical display, the higher the PQ.

It is coincidence that the more filled in it is, the brighter it becomes. (More pixels = it seems "brighter", but the only bit relevant to PQ is how filled in that circle is)
