Here is my Harbinger class Battleship. First game I've gotten to large hulls so I was pretty excited.

This particular model has 2 warp engines and 4 Harpoon 3 missles giving a 12 missle attack. Fleet up 3 of these bad boys and look out!

          Thanks for the kind words.

When I got the game, the ship design feature did not play into my decision at all - I didn't think I'd really care about it, didn't think it would add much to a TBS game... WRONG!!! I have surprisingly found it to be one of the most fun parts of the game! I luv it!

The interface needs a bit of work, but the concept is well thought out IMHO - and surprisingly your designs have a real affect on the game itself - they are not just eye candy!

I stumbled across this simple design for a super fast colony ship ("The Spider Colony") and really liked it. I might do a whole series based on bugs, if I get inspired enough.

              A Starship Troopers mod perhaps?

Hey, I may be somewhat of a critic when it comes to GalCiv2, but I also completely loved the shipyard .

Tonight's additions to the Terran Fleet.

Sentry Class Long Range Spy Ship

This game I'm trying to go for a Ringworld-Known Space(Larry Niven)/2001/Star Trek hybrid theme in my design.

BTW Yin as soon as I finish up this game, I'll start one as the Thalens and try to post up some Bug Ships a la Heinlein! But here is an attempt to get some 'buggy' influence within the design framework I already have built as the Terrans...

                          That's odd... I can't see oldstatesman's pictures.
"For it must be noted, that men must either be caressed or else annihilated; they will revenge themselves for small injuries, but cannot do so for great ones; the injury therefore that we do to a man must be such that we need not fear his vengeance." - Niccolo Machiavelli
