  • How moddable is it?

So how moddable is GalCiv II? Is any of the game mechanic stuff in scripts which can be changed by modders, or are only the data files and art moddable? Or will there an SDK of any kind released later to make greater modding possible, like for Civ IV?

not sure, but if they follow gc1, you will have some fun coming your way!

I looked at the GalCiv II wiki page on modding, and it looks like (currently) you can only mod data files, graphics/art, and the user interface. Oh well...

there was some great mod work done for gc1. hopefully this will continue. especially since this game is much better than gc1, the modders(if you are viewing thx for all that great work bty) could really make this into a classic.
of course stardock is not through with this yet so there should be some interesting times ahead for this game.
