  • Is There a Time limit?

Another newb question - Is there a time limit on the game? 400 turns, 500 turns, etc...or do you play until someone achieves one of the victory conditions?

(This is for the regular game, not the campaign - I haven't tried that yet.)

    TIA!

The game ends when a victory condition is achieved and there is no condition based on time, so in theory it can go on forever.

      Cool!

That's good and bad for me...I tend to really get lost in the game...and will play one game for weeks ...

I like that there is no 'time' pressure to rush through the tech tree - only tech pressure.

That's the same in MoO II, but I imagine tech pressure is pretty strong. But tech pressure in Civ IV feels stronger than any other game, IMHO. In Civ IV it feels like you have constantly rush research at breakneck speed because everyone else is - Don't do it and you'll fall behind and get stomped. :/
