perchased it last night & started playing a while ago. played a lot of gal civ, & so far this game is a big improvment! love their 'copy prot' scheme to!!

I agree...I did not play the first Gal Civ - but I bought and downloaded this game early last evening...
And damn if it wasn't 2:30 AM when I had to drag myself away.
So far, this one has the 'just one more turn' magic going on for me...
And the great 21st century anti-piracy business model StarDock has developed is outstanding and innovative ... ( geesh, treat the paying customer like they are honest, who thought of that one?

is the huge galaxy bigger than gc1? sure seems like it

finally starting to use all the nifty management tools. not having the m,anual is a pain but it is on the way!
the rally point are a definite must & the different ways to view & manage your empire are nice. finally got lrg hulls & am having fun with ship design. they did a really good job with this imo.Comment
