Auto-launch of ships?

Hi all,

I just bought GalCiv2 and can't figure out if there is a way to auto-launch ships like you could do in GalCiv. Can somebody help me out?

Yes, but it is kinda complicated, making use of rallypoints...

1) Define a rallypoint and give it a name (I use 'Main Construction') as my primary rallypoint for all constructors...

2) When on the planet view (select a planet and select view), press the Build Ship button in the upper right corner of the screen.

3) On the Build screen, select the Rallypoint button and pick a relevant rallypoint.

4) Click Done.

Now all ships from this planet will autolaunch and move to the defined rallypoint.


Another way to do almost what you want is available, but does require your input. Whenever a ship is built on any planet, a blue icon will appear on the right portion of the screen. If you right-click on the icon, the ship will launch.

Also when a ship finishes building you can right click on the blue ship icon and it will launch the ship.
