No music

I pre-purchased and downloaded the last piece this afternoon, and the first thing that jumped out at me was, no music. I checked my audio settings in the game and my speaker volume.

Do you have the movies? Does the sound play during them?

I guess I have the movies. Do I need to go to "My Computer" to find them? Do I need to download a player separately?

they have a bunch of threads about this on their main site... but, basically, you need to make sure you downloaded all the optional files, as well as the files needed to play the game.
When you open the Stardock program, if you click on the little + icon next to Galactic Civilization II, it will expand the tree. You should see three folders labelled Movies, Tutorials, and Multimedia.

You need to download those. Or just Multimedia if you just want sound.
