Whole game is about 1.3 gigs I believe. So you might want to wait to pick up your CD.

A lot of that is tutorial, movies, and multimedia. IIRC, the actual game engine is around 25 MB???

So you could buy the game from Stardock directly, having them ship the CD to you, and in the meantime download the bare minimum to get playing now.

You can download just the game and the multimedia, and while you're playing download the rest. Worked for me. Somewhere about 2/3 through my first game I got a notification that it was done downloading.
